My New Favorite Thing ...

... is this weapon that I used for the first time, yesterday, to cut the spirea down to 4 or 6 inches! Much faster and easier than by hand.

 

 

 

Doing that revealed lots of weeds to pull, and also some perennials to transplant this fall, so they aren't so covered by the enthusiastic spriea and hydrangeas. Speaking of which, October harvest, below:
