We had frost Halloween morning and even though many days since have been quite mild, the green beans and most tomatoes died back during the ensuing days. The tomatoes by the (dead) elm tree are still producing -- maybe they're sheltered? Since the hurricane, most of the tomatoes are a bit mealy, but still abundant.
Forgot, again, to check on fall camellias; when I remembered one day last week, they both seemed to have been blooming for days!
This week, the maples along the sorority side and peaked and lost their leaves.
