The camellia in the front west corner started blooming today! Plus: the nursery tag still clung to it (pink icicle, "cold hardy Japonica"). Minus: like other nursery tags left on since the previous owner (or her people?) plunked it in the ground, it had started to strangle the stem.
Also in bloom - hyacinth (purple and one white), more daffodils, and the tulips I planted last fall! And (not pictured) some already blooming wild tulips that I got on Friday. My other Friday purchase, rudbeckia, went in the ground, too.
