Prune

This weekend I pruned the deutzia, mostly by taking out older, larger stem. Reduced them maybe 1/3 in size? They were pretty unwieldy last year. Harder to see what I ought to do to the beauty berry, so I mostly left them.

Cut spirea down to about 18 inches tall.

Cut boxwood under kitchen window and touched up those bushes by the hot tub.

Dug up some buttercups, onion grass, and whatever that sweet pea-ish vine is.

Forsythia just starting to bloom.

Planted lettuce, snow peas.
