In bloom today: mock orange and peonies almost ready! We've got bad weather forecast, so that's my excuse for cutting some peonies early.
The azaleas are finishing. That softball viburnum still looks swell. The flowers get whiter as they open. The small deutzia look nice, especially with new mulch (20 yards delivered last week) slowing getting tucked in around them. I planted some coleus at the top of the mulch area, by the patio steps.
Also in bloom, those unidentified bell-shaped flowers.
