Winter Garden

Shubert Archive photo available at Internet Broadway Database

It's been a wintery winter. We had a little snow, several cold rains, some days that never got out of the 20s, and (so far) only one way too mild day.

Some daffodils poked leaves up before Xmas, while others showed in the last few weeks. The latter are no much more than the inch, while the former are nearly full grown, with buds waiting.

The gutters always need cleaning (thanks, willow oak).

Pruned the mock orange today by taking out the tallest stalks (from ground height) and cutting back bits that were too close to patio. A little haphazard about the ones I cut above ground height.
