Hosta and solomon's seal killed back by frost, but dead leaves won't come up with mere raking. On Sunday, we did our third round of 13+ bags of leaves raked. Most of the trees are bare; the willow oak, of course, has the most leaves left.
Some daffodils - I think - by side of the house put up new leaves in the generally mild fall we've had.
Lots of frost this morning. It looks like the smoke bush will drop its leaves soon.
